This belief is reflected in our business practices, starting with pioneering a way to reduce overall paper consumption and create minimal impact options for our employees and customers.

As one of the first insurance companies to automate the policy issuance system over 35 years ago, we continued to set precedents with our online web quoting and customer service options. Today that program has been expanded to include electronic claims filing and policy change requests.

In our day to day operations we continue to practice sustainability as well. Just a few examples Of Western Mutual's commitment to sustainability are our installing light motion sensors in our offices to keep electricity use down and our increasing opportunities for our employees to telecommute, contributing to an overall decrease in carbon dioxide emissions.
